Our Story

Nordic Rigging was born from a lifelong connection to boats and hands-on craftsmanship passed down through generations. The company was founded by Lukas and Tuomas Eloranta - a father and son team - united by a shared passion for sailing, rigging and making boats seaworthy.

Tuoms has decades of experience working with boats and rigging. His knowledge, built through real-life work on the water, laid the foundation for Lukas, who grew up learning the trade by his side. Over time, Lukas developed his own skills and vision, and together they built a company where experience meets new energy.

At Nordic Rigging, we often work together - but also take on our own projects. We share tools, ideas and a common commitment to quality. Whether it's a custom rope splice, a mast job or a full re-rig, we trust each other to get it right - and we bring that same trust to every boat we work on.

This is more than a job to us. It's a way of life built on skill, respect for the sea, and the belief that every boat deserves expert care.
